Tere Recarens has gained increasing recognition for her eclectic outpouring of works, in which her often eccentric preoccupations are as much a part of her life as her art. For a number of years, Recarens has produced countless drawings that often seem to propose metaphorical and/or exotic interpretations of everyday life, as in the Monkey and Panther series presented at Parker’s Box.
