In this notebook the artist displays entirely his identity. Page by page we can piece together the image of this young man who is gifted by an extremely creative soul which leads him to be a visual artist and an enthusiast musician as well. For him the music is also a way to discover his roots, in fact the traditional culture expresses itself using the percussions because this kind of music has been an integral part of the social life of Western African peoples since the beginning. The artist also appears to be really attached to his family and to his Church thus he quotes Bible texts and portrays himself attending the Saturday at his parish. An important chapter of the notebook is dedicated to the artist’s relationship with women whom he thinks are a way to find happiness.
