The artist tells her story in a very modest and gentle way. She starts the story from her childhood and draws for us a portrayal of herself as a simple girl interested in education and art that found herself in the experience of maternity. Her biggest joy is her daughter and while she is trying herself as artist attending the workshop her thoughts keep coming back to her little girl. The trip to Adjahui was particularly important for the artist because it gave to her a feeling of peace and serenity thanks to the nature of that place and to the kindness of the inhabitants who welcomed her and other students giving them food and performing the traditional percussions. The illustrations of the notebook are the background for the words that turn the most important moments of the story into images.
